Things for Mac 0.8.1
- Added a dialog for sending feedback.
- Natural language input for due dates.
- Added a mini calendar for due dates.
- Files can now be dragged to the notes section of to-dos. The file itself is not copied to the Things archive, only references are stored.
- Email messages can be dragged to the notes section of to-dos (requires Apple Mail 3.1). Clicking on the corresponding link will open the message in the user's default email client.
- Web addresses dragged from, e.g., Safari's address field, are now displayed using the web page's title.
- Dragging files or web addresses onto Things' application icon opens the Quick Entry window with corresponding links added to the notes section.
- Changed default hot key to CTRL+Space.
- Pressing the hot key no longer brings the main window to front.
- Pressing the hot key twice no longer crashes Things.
- Fixed Tag autocompletion in Quick Entry dialog (only affected users on Leopard).
- When the Tags field has keyboard focus, the down arrow key opens the add tag popup menu.
- Disabled "New Tag" warning dialog.
- When editing to-dos, holding the "esc" key no longer aborts editing, but save changes instead. (This is particularly useful when keyboard focus is in the notes section.)
- Cmd-Tab no longer re-opens the main window.
- Fixed service menu commands.
- Preferences. The hot key field no longer gets keyboard focus when the preference dialog is opened. …
