UNIFIDECK v0.7.6

Added itch.io as a new store, game de-dupe across stores, and a way to highlight games that you already own on other stores (happy autumn sale!)

New Features

• Added itch.io. Sign in through the usual login window to install linux and windows games. You can also play HTML5 games via browser. If you want add Free games to your library, add them to a collection and they will show up after sync.
• Added an "owned elsewhere" banner to Steam Store pages in Gaming Mode. It lists the other stores where you already own the game, and you can turn it off in the Quick Access Menu.
• Changed Xbox sign-in to Microsoft's code-based sign-in to allow for broader entitlements, so the Steam Store banner can also show the Xbox games you own.
• Added a "Group duplicates" option that shows a single tile for a game you own on several stores. Thanks @kmturley

UNIFIDECK v0.7.5

Added GameVault support, for installing and running DRM-Free games via Unifideck.

New Features

• Added GameVault, so you can browse and install from your own GameVault server or from local folder of game files (Thanks @stm85). See guide here - Unifideck-GameVault-Setup.pdf
• Added support for GE-Proton installed outside Unifideck, such as through ProtonPlus. Unifideck can now use existing protons instead of downloading them again. Thanks @EricwanAR
• Added a way to open logged in stores from the plugin UI. You can use the Cart icon to open the store's landing page/launcher.
• Improved the plugin updater. UI is more compact now and update options open in a new popup.
• Added a visible badge when Unifideck has stopped retrying a game that keeps failing to launch, with a button to reset it and try again.
• Added better support for Steam Machine and its own tab and compatibility classifications.

• Fixed games launching behind Steam's loading screen instead of coming to the front.

UNIFIDECK v0.7.4

Major Issues Fixed

• Fixed GE-Proton downloads failing.
• Fixed prefixes being wiped when your Proton did not actually change.
• Fixed game setup failing whenever you had forced a compatibility tool in Steam's own Properties menu.
• Fixed Cyberpunk 2077 and other titles that ship their own ICU library crashing during startup.
• Fixed external drives losing their identity when reconnected or renamed.

New Features

• Added Protontricks detection. Your Unifideck games now appear in Protontricks with the prefix the game runs in. If you use the Flatpak version, Unifideck grants it read access to the prefixes folder so it can see them. This does not mean we will support fixes via Protontricks perpetually. Tinker at your own risk.
• Added a language picker when installing Epic games that ship separate language packs.
• Added an Installed section to the Downloads tab listing every installed game with its size and storage location, each with Play and Uninstall.
• Removed finished and cancelled downloads from the Downloads tab history. Only failures are kept now, with a Clear failed button, since completed downloads show up in the Installed list instead.
• Added a manual Save location row to the cloud save window showing where your saves were detected, with Change location and Reset to automatic for all games instead of just the ones where the plugin couldn't find the save location.
• Added a prominent Cloud saves indicator on the game page showing Supported, Not supported or Unknown before you install the game.

An urgent fix for an outdated bundled umu launcher that broke game launches and fresh installs on every store, plus a batch of launch, install and library reliability fixes.

• Fixed the bundled umu launcher being out of date (now 1.4.4). Valve's server stopped serving the runtime downloads the old version asked for, which broke launches and fresh installs across every store.
• Fixed the Proton version you pick in Steam's own Compatibility dropdown being ignored, applying late, or stopping the game from launching at all. Newer official builds (Proton 11 and later) now work too.
• Fixed Ubisoft Connect and Ubisoft games not starting at all on some devices.
• Fixed Rockstar games on Epic (Red Dead Redemption 2, GTA V Enhanced Edition) crashing instantly or not being found by the Rockstar launcher.
• Fixed some Epic and Amazon installs finishing in seconds with nothing downloaded, or failing instantly with no error shown.
• Fixed your library being wiped from Steam, along with your own manually added non-Steam games, if you also use NonSteamLaunchers. (Compatibility fix).
• Fixed syncing and artwork using the wrong account's folders when you have more than one Steam account. This let to users seeing 0 games even after syncing/force syncing.

UNIFIDECK v0.7.1

An emergency stability release to fix a Steam Library crash on the SteamOS Preview/Beta channel, plus a batch of sync, install and launch reliability fixes.

• Fixed a crash that broke the entire Steam Library when running the SteamOS Preview/Beta update (appFilter.Matches is not a function). If you disabled Unifideck to work around this, you can safely re-enable it.
• Fixed libraries sometimes showing 0 games after a sync, and non-Steam shortcuts you added yourself being removed during a sync.
• Fixed some GOG games (DOSBox and Windows-wrapper titles) not launching correctly.
• Fixed some Epic installs failing when a bundle's DLC couldn't download. These now retry automatically without the DLC.
• Fixed some Linux-native GOG installs not completing.
• Fixed GOG showing 0 games after signing in, caused by expired or slow-to-refresh sign-in tokens.
• Fixed Amazon Prime Gaming games not appearing after claiming them, even after a force sync.
• Fixed occasional errors after the plugin reloads, including store badges disappearing from library tiles.
• Fixed sync progress not showing right away on some setups, leaving the sync bar looking stuck.
