  What changed: To help provide additional transparency about what content has been generated or altered by using AI in Microsoft 365, watermarks can be added to videos and audio content. A policy setting controls your organization's ability to add a visual or audio watermark to video and audio content that your users generate or alter by using AI in Microsoft 365.

  Why: Adding watermarks increases transparency and helps prevent misuse or misattribution of AI-generated content.

  Try this:

  • To turn on watermarks for video and audio content that your users generate or alter by using AI in Microsoft 365, you need to use the "Include a watermark when content from Microsoft 365 is generated or altered by AI" policy. This policy is available only in Cloud Policy service for Microsoft 365. If you want to add a watermark to video and audio content, you need to set this policy to Enabled. If you set this policy to Disabled or Not configured, a visual or audio watermark isn't added. …

• Microsoft Teams: Enhanced peripheral data in Pro Management portal reports for BYOD spaces: Admins can proactively manage peripherals in bring your own device (BYOD) rooms and desks with reports in the Pro Management portal that now flag if devices are faulty, undetectable by a PC, missing, or moved. Reports in the Pro Management portal require a Teams Shared Devices license for the room, and desk reports are in public preview.
• Users can trust that their context will be preserved when relevant to them, and not preserved when it’s not: When you return to a conversation within a short duration of time, your selected tabs, opened side panels, and layout are restored automatically, so you can keep working without resetting your workspace.
• Identify bots joining your Teams meetings: During Teams meetings, if there is an external 3P bot trying to join the meeting, organizers will be able to see a clear representation of the bots while they wait in the lobby. Organizers will be required to explicitly and separately admit these bots into the meeting, if really required. This approach will ensure that no one inadvertently accepts the external bots into the meeting ensuring that the organizers have full control over the presence of these bots.
• Add breakout room participants in bulk using CSV: This feature enables support for bulk breakout room participant assignment using a CSV file, helping organizers save time when setting up breakout rooms. …

• Admin setting for numeric‑only meeting passcodes: This feature supports scenarios where typing alphanumeric passcodes is difficult. This feature helps tenant admins to enable a meeting policy setting that generates 8‑digit numeric-only passcodes for meetings organized by selected users/groups. Because numeric-only passcodes increase the risk of unauthorized access and don't align with Microsoft’s recommended security practices, enabling the setting displays a warning and requires explicit confirmation.
