Fivetran Release Notes

We have released integrated scheduling for Transformations for dbt Core. Integrated scheduling lets you automatically trigger dbt model runs immediately after a connector sync completes. As a result, it reduces data latency by running transformations on new data as soon as it's loaded into your destination. It also helps you save on cloud computing costs by not running transformations on outdated data. We have added the sync_id field as a common field of the log events.

We now support dbt 1.0.0 and 1.0.1. You can use these versions to run your projects.

We have released a pre-built, dbt Core-compatible data model to combine Shopify ecommerce data with data from marketing connectors. The Shopify Holistic model supports combining Shopify data with email and SMS marketing data from Fivetran's Klaviyo data model. Find the model in Fivetran's dbt hub or data models documentation. We have removed the Show button in the API config section on the Security tab of your Account Management page. Click the Generate button to view your API key and secret. Click Generate new secret to generate a new API secret and replace the existing secret.api\_config\_improvements

We have added a new column, duration, to the MEDIA_LIBRARY table for storing video length values.

We have added indications to the Sync History chart that notify you about major sync events. We generate indications for the following events:

• Sync failures
• Schema changes
• Warnings
• Historical re-syncs
• Requested re-syncs

Now, you can specify the target name in the dbt project setup form. The specified value overrides the target name value present in deployment.yml.

You can now edit the notifications settings for other users on your account. To edit another user's settings, go to the Notifications tab in the Fivetran dashboard and click Switch Recipient.{% important %}This feature is only available for users with an Account Administrator or a custom role that has permissions to manage users and view connectors and transformations. We now generate the sync_end log event in our logs for every possible sync status:

• SUCCESSFUL
• FAILURE
• FAILURE_WITH_TASK
• RESCHEDULED

Previously, we generated the sync_end log event only for successful syncs.

We now support dbt version 0.21.1. You can use this version to run your projects.

We are gradually rolling out an In-Product Automated Plan Promotion that lets you try out features available on a higher-tier plan for 28 days. To activate the promotion, follow the instructions that appear when you click the Learn more link beside the relevant feature in your Fivetran dashboard.After the promotion is activated, you can see the Plan Promotion pane displaying the available features on the main dashboard page.active\_promotion

You can now click the Refresh Connector List button on the Connectors page to manually refresh the connector list. We also display the last refreshed time beside the button. Previously, we automatically refreshed the connector list at every change. Connector\_List\_Refresh button

We have implemented a new filter option for Magic Folder connectors in the Fivetran dashboard. You can now filter your file list to view only failed files or files with warnings. We now support dbt 0.21.0. You can use this version to run your projects. You can upgrade your existing projects by following dbt's migration guide.

We have added a new Usage tab on the Connector Details page where you can see the connector's MAR consumption. You can filter the MAR consumption data by table. If you have permission to view your account's Usage page, you can also click the Go to account usage link to see the account's total MAR consumption.connector\_usage\_tab

For improved security, we will remove the Show button in the API config section on the Security tab of your Account Management page.The API key and secret are essentially credentials that allow you to access your account using the API. Never share your API key or secret with anyone.
