• One-Line Vertical Report (MMS6 Parity)

  • Read a Scene by Position: Print the vertical one-liner keyed to a cast ID grid on the cover page, back from MMS 6 as its own report. Each cast ID holds the same row on every strip, so you can see who is called without reading the numbers.
  • How It Works:
    • One-Line Vertical appears below One-Line Schedule in the report list, and you create, name, save and duplicate its layouts the way you do for any other report. Page 1 carries the cover block listing each cast member against their cast ID, with production information pulled from the Header tab.
    • The Vertical Strip Designer stacks cells top to bottom. Because a vertical strip runs taller than the designer dialog, you design the fields above the Cast ID Block and the fields below it as separate sections.
    • Drop the Cast ID Block onto the strip to carry the cast grid that keys back to the cover page. Each cast ID keeps its assigned row, so a cast member who is not in the scene leaves an empty row rather than shifting everyone below them. …

• Image Attachments (MMS6 Parity)

  • Reference Material Travels With the Schedule: Attach location photos, prop references, costume art, and storyboards to Elements and scenes, and they stay with the file when it is copied or shared.
  • The Report Carries the Picture: Mark one image per Element and it prints on the Element Detail Report for the crew.
  • How It Works:
    • An IMAGES tab on element detail, including built-in categories such as Set and Location, lets you add and delete images from your computer, preview them, and note each one. The newest image appears first.
    • Images attach to scenes through the Breakdown and Board split-screen panes. See Images for a full overview.
    • Mark an image as the report image and a badge appears on its thumbnail. Mark none and the report prints the newest image.
    • An Insert image option in the Element Detail Report designer prints each element's image beside its text. An element with no image prints its text at full width.

  • Start From Your Setup, Not a Blank File: A new schedule opens already carrying your reports, designs, categories, and custom fields.
  • Share by Email: Templates save as local .MMST files you can send to colleagues.
  • How It Works:
    • Save as Template sits in the File menu under Save As and writes an .MMST file from any open schedule. New from Template sits under New Schedule. Double-clicking an .MMST file opens it.
    • A template keeps your category list, field and custom-field setup, all report and strip designs, the calendar strip design, saved Red Flag types, and the Day/Night and Interior/Exterior elements with their colors. It clears scenes, strips, boards, locations, sets, episodes, and Red Flags.

  • Reuse Instead of Rebuild: Save a board or report layout once and load it into any schedule.
  • Hand a Layout to Your Team: A layout file moves between schedulers and between productions.

  • Find Patterns Without Scanning: Sort the Day Out of Days vertical view by up to four rules at once instead of reading the report row by row.
  • Stack Rules to Answer Real Questions: Combine fields like Board ID, then First Working Day, then Element name to read resource distribution in one pass.
  • How It Works:
    • The SORT control in the DOOD toolbar opens a dialog where you set up to four sort rules. Fields: Board ID, Element name, First Working Day, Last Working Day, Worked Day, and Held Days. Each rule has its own order, such as 1 → 9, A → Z, or Earliest → Latest.
    • A field chosen in one rule is removed from the field list in the rules below it. CLEAR resets the dialog and is active once a rule is set; CANCEL closes without applying.
    • Elements with no value for a sorted field move to the end. Equal values keep their original order. The sort applies for the session, clears when you close the schedule, switch Sub-Boards, or leave the DOOD tab, and is not saved to the file.
    • Sorting applies to the vertical view only.
