  • Adjust the details: Describe a targeted change, such as a lighter background or a more minimal layout, and the option keeps its direction while only those details change.
  • Ask for something else: Request a completely different direction and that option is replaced with a fresh concept.

A branch is now built and served on its own, so it works like a real copy of your app instead of a variation of main.

  • Its own preview: A branch preview serves the branch's own pages and reads its own schema, and Edit mode and split-screen editing work there too.
  • Its own version history: Version history reads the branch's history, so restoring a version brings back that branch's state instead of overwriting it with main's schema and navigation.
  • Merge from AI chat: Ask AI chat to merge a branch into main, or update a branch from main, then confirm it from a card in the chat.
  • Start one while your app is building: Create a branch before main finishes generating. It forks from the last completed version and starts building right away. Merging, deleting, and importing still wait until main is idle.
  • On any GitHub-connected app: Create a branch on any app connected to GitHub, and import a repository branch as an app branch.
  • From your phone: Switch, create, and merge branches on mobile web and in the iOS and Android app.

Setting up a connector with your own OAuth credentials used to mean registering a separate callback URL for every app host, and every new app or custom domain sent you back to register more. Connectors now use a single callback URL that covers all of your apps.

  • Register it once: Add https://connectors.base44.com/api/oauth/callback to your OAuth provider, and it keeps working as you build more apps and connect custom domains.
  • Move older connections when you are ready: Connections created earlier keep their per-app URLs and show a Per-app URLs badge. Switch one over from Callback URLs in the connection, and switch it back from the same place.

This works from the Send now button in the agent editor, and automatically in a 1:1 WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, iMessage, or Slack conversation.
  • Shows images in chat: When your Superagent sends an image, or links to one directly, chat now shows the picture itself instead of a link.

  • Covered channels: WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, iMessage, Slack, and email.
  • Per-app exceptions: Allow a specific app to use a channel, with a reason recorded.
  • Enforced for you: The policy is enforced on Base44's servers, so an agent cannot be talked into bypassing it.
