Seedance 2.5 Draft Mode in Agent

Agent can now generate with Seedance 2.5 Draft mode, creating fast 480p drafts with post-generation enhancement. Iterate and correct generations faster and cheaper, with Draft mode automatically suggested and easy to toggle on or off.

OpenAI Dots x Runway

Runway is now available in OpenAI's Dots. Brief your dot before bed: it plans the shots, Runway shoots them, and the finished spot is waiting in the morning.

September 30th, 2026 - Eleven v4 (eleven_v4) is now available on Runway Dev. Generate expressive speech with audio tags like [laughs], [whispers], and [pause] in the script. Scripts can be up to 2,500 characters, using the same Runway preset voices as Eleven v3. Billed at 2.2 credits per 1,000 characters until October 12, 2026 PT, then 5 credits per 1,000 characters, with a 1 credit minimum. Use the text to speech endpoint to get started.

ElevenLabs V4

ElevenLabs V4 is now supported in Runway, letting you generate audio with the latest, most expressive ElevenLabs model.

September 28th, 2026 - Seedance 2.5 (seedance2_5) now supports draft mode. Pass draft: true on text to video, image to video, or video to video for a 480p preview, billed at the 480p rate. When that task succeeds, enhance it to 1080p by sending draftTaskId alone to text to video. The enhancement reuses the preview's prompt, references, duration, seed, and audio setting, and is billed at the 1080p rate. Previews can be enhanced within 7 days of creation. September 17th, 2026 - Enhance Frame Rate (enhance_frame_rate) is now available on Runway Dev. Convert a video to a target frame rate of 24, 25, 30, 48, 50, 60, 120, 23_98 (23.98 fps), 29_97 (29.97 fps), or 59_94 (59.94 fps). Inputs can be at most 300 seconds. Billed at 1 credit per 2 seconds. Use the video upscale endpoint with model: "enhance_frame_rate" to get started.
