Released 05. August 2026: See Downloads
- Based on Debian Trixie (13.6)
- Latest 7.0 Kernel as stable default
- QEMU 11.0
- LXC 7.0
- ZFS 2.4
- Ceph Tentacle 20.2.3
Highlights
- First Proxmox VE release for a CPU architecture besides x86-64 (amd64).
- Full and official support for enterprise arm64 systems, currently the NVIDIA Grace and NVIDIA Vera platforms. Other UEFI-based ARMv9-A or newer hardware is supported on a best-effort basis.
- Shares the code base, package repositories, and release lifecycle with the x86-64 builds. Configuration, tooling, and documentation are identical, except for a small set of architecture-specific differences.
- Hosts must boot through UEFI and describe their hardware through ACPI. Device-tree-only single-board computers, such as the Raspberry Pi, are not supported.
- Some x86-specific features are unavailable, among them SeaBIOS for VMs, AMD SEV, and Intel GVT-g. Live migration is only possible between nodes of the same architecture.
This is a one-time entry for the initial arm64 release. Subsequent releases cover both architectures and are not listed separately anymore.
