Software Updates:

• Smarter Pet Waste Detection: Matic now detects about a third more pet waste with fewer false alarms, so it avoids real messes more reliably without skipping harmless spots.

• Clearer Wet Bag Alerts: Matic now tells you specifically when the wet bag is full, instead of grouping it with low-airflow bag alerts. If only the wet bag is full, Matic can keep vacuuming.

• Brush Roll Alerts Stay Put: Fixed an issue where pressing the button cleared the "brush roll missing" warning while the brush roll was still out. The warning now stays until Matic detects the brush roll.

• Matic Asks You to Repeat: If Matic doesn't catch a voice command the first time, it now asks you to say it again instead of giving up.

App Updates:

• Floor Vents on Your Map: Matic now recognizes floor vents while cleaning and shows them as 3D models on your map.

• Change Plans Mid-Clean: While Matic is cleaning, tap any room on the map to skip it, clean it next, or clean it again.

• Smoother Map Panning: The map now keeps gliding after you lift your finger.

• Bag Pass in the App: You can now buy Bag Pass in the app for an unlimited supply of HEPA bags. Reorder bags, track your Pass, and renew it in Settings → My plans.

• Guided Brush Roll Jam Fix: The app now walks you through clearing a brush roll jam, then runs a quick motor test to confirm it's fixed. …

Software Updates:

• Faster Recovery After Being Moved: If you pick Matic up and set it down somewhere new, it now turns in place to look around and find itself on the map, instead of reporting itself lost when facing a wall or a bare corner.

• Smoother Undocking: Fixed an issue where a cable, thin mat, or bit of cloth in front of the dock could stop Matic from leaving it. Matic now drives over small obstacles it can safely clear and only stops for things that truly block the way.

• More Thorough Edge Cleaning: Matic now follows walls more closely when cleaning edges, covering about 4% more floor along the perimeter.

• Faster Cleaning Start: Matic now checks its vacuum sensors in the background, so cleaning begins about a second sooner after you press start.

App Updates:

• Know Why Every Clean Ended: Matic now sends a notification when any clean finishes, including ones that stopped early, and tells you the reason.

• New Cleaning Order: Standard cleans now start with toekicks and edges, then transitions, and finish with the open floor, so the areas you walk on are cleaned last.

• Point at Stains and Spills: With Matic Cues on, point at a spot and say "Hey Matic, clean this spill" or "Hey Matic, clean this stain." Matic vacuums and mops dry stains, and gives wet spills extra mop passes.

• Clearer Follow Me: While Matic follows you, its screen now stays on a Following view for the whole walk, and shows Paused when you press the button to pause it.

• Smarter Brush Roll Troubleshooting: The app now tells you specifically whether the brush roll is missing, jammed, or the mop roll is jammed, with steps to fix it. If the problem keeps coming back after you've cleared it, Matic flags a possible hardware issue and points you to support.

Introducing Matic Cues — Voice & Gesture Control: Talk to Matic like you'd talk to a helper. Matic understands natural language, so say it your way. Here's everything you can ask:

• Clean a room: "Hey, Matic — clean the kitchen." Works with mopping and vacuuming too: "mop the bedroom," "vacuum the hallway." You can chain multiple rooms in one command.

• Clean everywhere: "Clean the whole house," "clean all rooms."

• Clean by surface or detail: "Clean the carpets," "clean the hard floors," "clean the edges," "clean the toekicks" — target exactly the surfaces that need it, in one room or the whole home.

• Clean this: Point at a spot and say "clean this" — Matic sees where you're pointing and cleans that exact area.

• Clean it again: "Redo last clean" repeats your most recent cleaning session.

• Send it somewhere: "Go to the kitchen" sends Matic to any room you've named on your map.

• Follow me: "Follow me" — Matic follows you to wherever needs attention.

• Refill: "Go to the sink" — Matic comes to the sink for a water refill.

• Pause and resume: "Pause" holds position until you say "resume."

• Go home: "Dock" sends Matic back to its charger.

• Give me space: "Go away" — Matic skips the current room and moves on, or heads back to the dock.
