• The Creep drive setting is now saved to corresponding driver profile

  • Note: The Creep setting is automatically enabled when this software version is installed successfully. During the first drive cycle, you can change the setting if desired. Your preference will be saved and applied going forward.

• Improvements to the automatic resume of stop & go when using Pilot Assist or adaptive cruise control. This includes a notification informing the driver the functions must be resumed by either pressing the resume button or lightly depressing the accelerator pedal after being at a standstill for more than 10 seconds

• Improvements to Park Assist, including an audible warning starting at a distance of 100 cm from objects. At 70 cm distance to the object a 360° camera view is triggered when in Drive

  • Previously, the audible sensor warning was started at 130 cm distance to the object and triggered the 360° camera view at 50 cm distance

• Improvements to Road Sign Information, including a bug fix to prevent the system from reading road signs on nearby railroads and viaducts

• Improvements to the seat belt reminder functionality. The seat belt reminder provides visual and audible alerts when an occupant is unbuckled, particularly at low speeds.

• Improvements to battery preconditioning, including the system now acting more dynamically, allowing the conditioning to start earlier and reach a higher temperature to improve overall charging performance

  • To start the preconditioning, a DC fast charger (>70 kW) must be set as the destination in the built-in Google Maps app and the estimated state of charge at arrival must be kept above 7%
  • On long trips with multiple stops, ensure that the charging stop is prioritized and your first stop in the route guidance

• Improvements to the climate system, including a bug fix for when the climate system was sporadically blowing cold air

ADAS improvements

• Improvements to Road Sign Information, including a bug fix to prevent the system from reading road signs on parallel roads

• Audible confirmation when locking the vehicle is introduced. After installation, the function is set to "off" as default and can be turned on by users in the exterior settings for locking
• Rear auto brake for static objects during parking maneuvers is introduced. A button is added in the camera view to disable it, and the function will remain disabled until reactivated by user

Additional improvements

• Lane Change Assist now saves the preferred setting between driving cycles

  • Previously, it was by default off each driving cycle

• Automatic resume of stop & go when using Pilot Assist or Adaptive Cruise Control now cancels the assisted driving after more than 10 seconds of being at a complete standstill

• Automatic headlight functionality now ensures the headlights turn off automatically when the vehicle transitions from active to inactive mode when the driver’s door is opened

  • Previously, the headlights remained turned on until the vehicle was locked or the home safety lights cycle was completed (if the setting was activated)
  • The headlights will now turn on again to complete the home safety lights cycle if the setting is activated

• Improvements to the infotainment system, including translation corrections and minor UX/UI updates such as digital key for Apple Watch, will now be displayed with a watch symbol in the shared keys list in the vehicle …

• Bug fix for issue of old text messages being reiterated when phone is connecting to Bluetooth

• Center display stability improvements covering translation corrections

• Video streaming services improvements including mitigation of video signals causing sound to play without picture

• Seat heating improvement to increase the overall seat heating temperature by 2 degrees

• Animal mode now automatically turns off headlights when activated. The headlights will return to the chosen setting once Animal mode is turned off

• Set climate timers will now start 30 minutes prior to set departure time

  • Previously, the timer started 15 minutes prior to set time. If the user does not enter the vehicle at the set departure time, the climate will continue to run for an additional 10 minutes before turning off

• Preconditioning of the cabin climate via direct start in the Polestar app will now run for 30 minutes before switching off

  • Previously, the climate ran for 15 minutes after direct start

• Dashcam settings are now saved to driver profiles

  • Your preferred settings will now be saved to your driver profile, allowing the user to accept the privacy preferences at first time of use only. All settings, including automatic emergency recording, will now remain saved between drive cycles …

• Center display stability improvements

• Edit button now added to the Favorites app and Shortcuts widget

  • Previously, the widget could only be edited by holding and pressing the app or shortcut you wanted to edit. An edit button has now been added to the top right corner of the widget.

• Speed limit warning turned off. Function now includes a dismiss button to allow the driver to actively dismiss the notification

• A/C climate calibration improvements

• Parking sensors are now deactivated when Car Wash mode is active

ADAS improvements

• Pilot Assist now uses a new AI-based method for lateral control, following the drive path within the lane instead of just the center. The steering control will now handle road curves in a more natural manner.

  • This does not reduce the driver's responsibility to operate the vehicle as safely as possible.

• Lane Keeping Aid now improved to include a setting for steering wheel vibrations only

  • Previously the Lane Keeping Aid system only offer ON and OFF settings, with the ON setting using both steering interventions and vibrations. You can now select "vibrations only" or "vibrations and steering interventions" when selecting ON. Please note that steering interventions will still be active for solid road lines and edges. …

• Launch of a dozen new apps through Google Built-in, all of which can be enjoyed while the vehicle is parked. Check out the full list of apps in the Google Play Store.

• The driver’s profile will now be selected when the driver’s door is opened, even when the passenger door has already been unlocked and opened by another key. The driver’s profile needs to have a key already connected for this to function.

  • Previously, the vehicle would always default to whichever profile’s key opened the vehicle first, not to the driver entering the vehicle.

• More functions have now been added to the favorites shortcut

• Enabling Digital Key functionality for Apple devices for all markets1.

  • To activate digital key, a special code is required. This code will be sent to all primary drivers when the full functionality is being released for respective markets at a later date.

• Charging speed now shown as kW in instrument panel.

• Automatic climate mode improved to avoid issue with air conditioning not cooling vehicle sufficiently.

• Center display stability improvements to prevent unresponsive behavior or screen resetting.
