Managed Data Lake Service: JSON-Darstellung in STRING-Spalten bleibt erhalten

Bei allen ab dem 5. Oktober 2026 eingerichteten neuen Verbindungen zum Managed Data Lake Service bleibt die ursprüngliche JSON-Darstellung in STRING-Spalten erhalten, sodass JSON-Stringwerte wie "true", "null" und "123" ihre umschließenden Anführungszeichen nicht mehr verlieren.

All new connections set up on or after October 5, 2026 preserve the original JSON representation when storing JSON values in STRING columns. Previously, JSON string values such as "true", "null", and "123" could lose their enclosing quotes, potentially changing their meaning in the data lake.

Adyen: RECEIVED_PAYMENTS_REPORT_INCOMING umbenannt in RECEIVED_PAYMENTS_REPORT

Im Adyen-Connector wurde die Tabelle RECEIVED_PAYMENTS_REPORT_INCOMING in RECEIVED_PAYMENTS_REPORT umbenannt und ist nun die einzige synchronisierte Tabelle, während die bisherige Tabelle als RECEIVED_PAYMENTS_REPORT_BACKUP_21_09_2026 nicht mehr befüllt wird und für historische Daten ein Re-Sync nötig ist.

We have made the following changes:

  • Renamed the RECEIVED_PAYMENTS_REPORT_INCOMING table to RECEIVED_PAYMENTS_REPORT. This is now the only table we sync.
  • Renamed the previous RECEIVED_PAYMENTS_REPORT table to RECEIVED_PAYMENTS_REPORT_BACKUP_21_09_2026. We no longer sync data to this table.

Be sure to update your downstream queries to reflect these changes. To backfill historical data,re-sync the RECEIVED_PAYMENTS_REPORT table.

ADP Workforce Now: Sync schlägt bei aktivem Webhook nicht mehr fehl

Ein Sync von ADP Workforce Now schlägt nicht mehr fehl, wenn ADP einen aktiven Webhook meldet, wobei Mitarbeiterdaten dann nur über den täglichen historischen Sync aktualisiert werden, bis das Webhook-Abonnement in ADP entfernt oder eine separate Anwendung für Fivetran genutzt wird.

We no longer fail a sync if ADP reports that a webhook is active for your application.Because ADP disables event notifications in this configuration, we use the daily historical sync to update worker data rather than during incremental syncs.To restore immediate updates, remove the webhook subscription in ADP or use a separate application for Fivetran.

Data Validation Management in REST API über neues Feld data_checks

Über das neue Feld „data_checks“ in der REST API lässt sich die automatische tägliche Datenvalidierung einer Verbindung beim Erstellen, Aktualisieren und Abrufen aktivieren oder deaktivieren, wobei das Senden des Felds für nicht unterstützte Kombinationen einen 400-Fehler zurückgibt.

You can now enable or disable automated data validation (data checks) for a connection using the data_checks field in the REST API.When data checks are enabled, Fivetran compares source and destination data once per day to detect discrepancies such as missing rows or value mismatches. When disabled, validation is skipped.The data_checks field is supported for the following endpoints:

  • Create a Connection — set data_checks to true or false when creating a connection.
  • Update a Connection — update the data_checks setting independently of other configuration changes.
  • Retrieve Connection Details — the current data_checks state is returned in the response.

The field is only present for connector and destination combinations that support data validation. Sending data_checks for an unsupported combination returns a 400 Bad Request error.Click to see the list of supported connectors

Amazon Selling Partner: Acht neue TRANSACTION-Tabellen statt Finance Events

Für Amazon Selling Partner gibt es acht neue TRANSACTION-Tabellen als Ersatz für die von Amazon eingestellte Finance Events API, wobei die bisherigen Finance-Events-Tabellen noch bis zum 16. Dezember 2026 synchronisiert werden und die neuen Tabellen bis zum 31. Oktober 2026 nicht auf MAR angerechnet werden.

Amazon is discontinuing its Finance Events API and replacing it with the Transactions API. To support the Transactions API, we have added the following tables:

  • TRANSACTION
  • TRANSACTION_BREAKDOWN
  • TRANSACTION_CONTEXT
  • TRANSACTION_ITEM
  • TRANSACTION_ITEM_BREAKDOWN
  • TRANSACTION_ITEM_CONTEXT
  • TRANSACTION_ITEM_RELATED_IDENTIFIER
  • TRANSACTION_RELATED_IDENTIFIER

These tables will not contribute to your MAR until October 31, 2026.We will continue syncing data into the existing Finance Events API tables until December 16, 2026. On that date, we will permanently discontinue these tables, including all child tables of FINANCE_EVENT. To prepare for this change, be sure to do the following:

  • Set your connection's schema change handling setting to Allow all new data to ensure that Fivetran syncs the new Transactions API tables to your destination.
  • Update your downstream queries to use the new tables. Failing to do so may lead to missing or incomplete data in your data pipelines.
  • If you use the Amazon Selling Partner dbt package in your own dbt environment, upgrade to the latest version of the amazon_selling_partner package for compatibility with the new tables. We will update Fivetran-managed transformations to support the new tables. …
