Veeva Vault: OAuth 2.0 und Upgrade auf API v26.1

Der Veeva-Vault-Connector unterstützt jetzt OAuth 2.0 als Authentifizierungsmethode mit neuen Formularfeldern und REST-API-Parametern, außerdem wurde die Veeva-Vault-API-Version schrittweise von v25.2 auf v26.1 angehoben.

We now support a new authentication method, OAuth 2.0, for the Veeva Vault connector. To support this enhancement, we have added the following changes:

  • Added new fields to the connection setup form:
    • Client ID
    • Client Secret
    • OIDC Profile ID
    • OAuth Token Service URL
    • Vault DNS
    • Scope
  • Added the following parameters to the Fivetran REST API:
    • authentication_method
    • client_id
    • client_secret
    • o_auth_service_token_url
    • oidc_profile_id
    • scope
    • vault_dns

Bei Connectoren mit Multi-source-Quickstart-Paketen wie Ad Reporting fordert Fivetran nach bestandenen Verbindungstests jetzt zur Konfiguration einer Quickstart-Transformation auf, wobei man einer bestehenden Multi-source-Transformation beitreten oder eine neue anlegen kann.

When you set up a connection for a connector that supports multi-source Quickstart packages, such as Ad Reporting, Fivetran now prompts you to configure a Quickstart transformation automatically after the connection tests pass. You can choose to join an existing multi-source transformation or create a new one — in both cases, only multi-source transformations are available for these connector types. Salesforce Formula Fields: Bessere Erkennung und Zuverlässigkeit

Die Quickstart-Logik für Formula Fields nutzt jetzt das dbt-Paket salesforce_formula_utils, was Formula Fields auch für Hybrid-Deployment-Destinations ermöglicht, wobei sich alle oder keine Felder ausführen lassen und fehlerhafte Modelle automatisch pausiert werden, bis ein Full Refresh sie wieder aktiviert.

We have updated the Quickstart formula fields logic to use the salesforce_formula_utils dbt package, which also enables formula fields for Hybrid Deployment destinations. Customers now have the option to run all formula fields or none. Formula field models that fail with subsequent errors are automatically paused. Customers can unpause them by triggering a full refresh, which will re-enable all formula fields.

If you don't want the connection to capture deletes, set the toggle to OFF. By default, the toggle is enabled. Disabling delete capture may improve the connection's performance.
