Dictate 4.1.1 behebt die Akzentfarbe, sodass Tasten und Buttons auf manchen Geräten wieder blau statt grün erscheinen.

  • 🎨 Fixed the accent color: on some devices the keys and buttons (Enter, the mic, caps-lock, the actions header) could show up green instead of the Dictate blue — they're back to blue now.

  • 😀 Emoji search: find and insert emoji right from the keyboard.
  • 🗣️ New transcription provider: Soniox joins the lineup.
  • ↩️ Pick up where you left off: re-insert your last dictation, and recover recordings that were interrupted when the keyboard closed.
  • ⚡ Live prompt bar: rewording prompts refresh instantly — long-press a prompt to edit it on the spot.
  • 🔍 Clearer provider overview: the AI providers screen now shows both your active transcription and rewording providers at a glance.
  • 🎙️ Easier to start: a bigger, more prominent record button that's simpler to hit.
  • 🛠️ Fixes: a support prompt could get stuck and block the bar in some languages; backups no longer fail when prompts, keyboard or theme are selected; saved API keys are now kept when upgrading.

Dictate 3.1.0: Experimentelle Auto-Formatierung

Dictate 3.1.0 führt die experimentelle Auto-Formatierung ein, bei der Sprachbefehle wie „new paragraph“ im Text umgesetzt werden, und enthält außerdem Fehlerbehebungen und Theme-Änderungen.

This update adds an experimental feature called "auto formatting". If you have enabled auto formatting, you can use commands such as "new paragraph," "first," or "Henry with i" in the recording, which will then be automatically applied to your text. Processing will be a little bit slower, but the AI tries to process your instructions as good as possible. ✨

Furthermore, some bug fixes and theme changes have been made.

Dictate 3.0.0 bringt eigene Tasten für Emojis und Zahlen, die Anzeige aller Rewording-Anweisungen mit automatischer Anwendung, Export und Import von Anweisungen, Spanisch und Portugiesisch als App-Sprachen sowie Design- und Fehlerkorrekturen.

This is the second major update for Dictate with plenty of improvements 🤩

  • You no longer have to switch keyboards when you want to enter emojis or numbers. There are now dedicated buttons on the keyboard for that. 🥳
  • All rewording instructions are now displayed. When you tap an instruction, the entire text is selected and revised automatically. If you selected only part of the text, only that part will be reworded. If you tap instructions during a recording, they are applied to your text right after the transcription. 🤖
  • In the rewording instruction settings, you can now choose to have an instruction automatically applied after every transcription. That saves you plenty of unnecessary taps. 😌
  • You can now easily export and import all of your instructions whenever you switch to a new device or want to share them. 📤
  • The default style prompt is now sent to Whisper in the respective input language to avoid incorrect automatic translations. 💡
  • Spanish and Portuguese have been added as app languages, along with an option to choose the language manually. 🇪🇸
  • Some design changes and bug fixes have been made. ✨

Dictate 2.10.1

Dictate 2.10.1 erlaubt es, Animationen in den Einstellungen zu deaktivieren, und schaltet die Bluetooth-Unterstützung standardmäßig aus.

This is just a small update adding the ability to disable animations in the settings. Furthermore, Bluetooth support is disabled by default.

  • If you tap, hold and swip to the left on the delete button, you can now select whole words for faster but still precise deletion. 🗑️

Dictate 2.9.1: Automatischer Tastaturwechsel

Dictate 2.9.1 kann nach der Transkription automatisch zur vorherigen Tastatur zurückwechseln, wenn man während der Aufnahme lang auf den Aufnahmebutton drückt, und der PayPal-Hinweis in den Einstellungen wurde wegen Google-Vorgaben entfernt.

This is just a small update adding the ability to automatically switch back to the previous keyboard after the transcription has finished. Simply do a long press on the recording button while recording. 🎉

Furthermore, I had to remove my PayPal reference from the settings to my GitHub page because of some Google restrictions. 🥲
