Chargebee Release Notes

It was identified that the unit prices for Flat Fee and Per Unit-based add-ons were being rounded off to two decimal places while using Hosted pages. This results in a mismatch between the prices from the Invoices and hosted pages UI. This issue is now resolved.

When a site/account taxes are set up for an Aus region, we identified that the invoices did not include the no tax and tax_exempt reason code for their customers with an address located in the USA.

Brightback Customer Portal is now live!

A toggle to enable/disable Brightback under Chargebee Settings > Configure Chargebee > Checkout & Self-Serve Portal page.

A setting in Chargebee that indicates if a user has integrated Brightback. This will determine if they can enable the Brightback Cancel Experience in their portal settings.

The following bug fixes are associated with this release:

Line item-specific coupons after they were applied does not display on the Subscription details page.

As part of an update to improve the performance of sub-metric calculation logic, we added checks to avoid duplicate sub-metric jobs. As a result of this, the sub-metric jobs missed running which caused inaccurate MRR values for a few subscriptions.

We identified an error that allowed users to create plans without associating with a Product Family with APIs

When multiple contacts are associated with a company, the integration sets the most recently created contact as the primary contact in HubSpot. As part of this enhancement, the integration allows you to select a primary contact for an account explicitly.

The invoice and subscription cards are enhanced to display the plan name and Chargebee subscription hyperlink on the HubSpot deal page.

Using the Chargebee Hubspot quote-to-cash integration, you can map up to 15 additional fields for syncing company and deal records in HubSpot to customer and subscription records, respectively in Chargebee.

The sync dashboard in Chargebee HubSpot integration displays an overview of the records synced from Chargebee to Hubspot. Based on the latest sync, the dashboard displays the following information:

The number of newly synced customer records or the number of records synced as part of an update in HubSpot from Chargebee.

The number of records that failed to sync.

The sync log displays the consolidated list of synced records and their properties from all sync actions.

Users can further download the list of records and use the filter option to apply multiple filters and see relevant details about the synced records.

The following are the updates and fixes in this release:

We've fixed the error message with the correct refund amount(in decimal) while Canceling an order. It also fixes the error when the refund amount(in decimal) exceeds the order amount.

The Leap UI order now displays the order units and price in the order details page.

The additional details API call has been removed to avoid any delays to users while navigating from the order index page to the order details page (PC2.0 and PC1.0).

Unexpected Reason codes were returned for Refund and Record Refund for an invoice. Previously, we always responded with Product Unsatisfactory even when other reason codes were selected while creating the credit note. We fixed this issue.

The enhanced Chargebee Salesforce integration user interface allows you to create and manage Chargebee quotes and subscriptions effortlessly.

We identified and fixed the following errors:

The entities failed with intermittent issues when syncing data to NetSuite.

Unable to download CSV file due to NetSuite sync errors. This is due to the non-existence of a default subsidiary in the Netsuite standard edition version. With this release, the base currency check is handled in both the standard and one world edition.

With this release, we have extended all features of the RBI mandate filters to Leap UI users too.

Razorpay is a payment solution that offers a fast, affordable, and secure way to accept and disburse payments online. You can now integrate Razorpay with your Chargebee site. This integration is currently available only for India.

With this release, the billing mode configuration of the site is synced to the RevenueStory data source settings to ensure accurate reporting.

With this release, we've enabled the Report Settings option that was found to be in a greyed-out tile under the Advanced configuration of the Chargebee site.

We identified that the entities are displayed in the user interface even after they are deleted in Xero and QuickBooks. This issue is now resolved!
