CommaFeed 5.6.0
Feeds werden standardmäßig je nach Aktivität zwischen 5 Minuten und 4 Stunden aktualisiert, viele Intervall-Werte sind als Einstellungen verfügbar, lokale Adressen werden zum Schutz vor SSRF blockiert, und bei „429 Too many requests“ ohne Retry-After greift ein Backoff.
- To better respect the bandwidth of feed owners, the default value of
commafeed.feed-refresh.interval-empiricalis now true. This means feeds no longer refresh exactly every 5 minutes (the default value ofcommafeed.feed-refresh.interval) but between 5 minutes and 4 hours (the default value of the newcommafeed.feed-refresh.max-intervalsetting). The interval is calculated based on feed activity, so highly active feeds refresh more often (#1677) - Many previously hardcoded values used in feed refresh interval calculation are now exposed as settings (#1677)
- Access to local addresses is now blocked to mitigate server-side request forgery (SSRF) attacks, which could potentially expose internal resources. You might want to disable the new
commafeed.http-client.block-local-addressessetting if you subscribe to feeds only available on your local network and you trust all your users - If a feed responds with a "429 - Too many requests" response, a backoff mechanism is triggered when the response does not contain a "Retry-After" header
